Participating monasteries, religious communities, and hermitages earn revenue from each sale of their products. Since many are cloistered and do not have the time and money to advertise their wonderful products, Monastery Greetings also helps them reach a wider audience.
Is my transaction information secure?Yes. Monastery Greetings uses secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers. Does Monastery Greetings share my address or other personal information?No. Monastery Greetings will not share information (mailing addresses, telephone and fax numbers, or e-mail addresses) about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. What forms of payment does Monastery Greetings accept?Monastery Greetings accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks and money orders. Sorry, we do not accept PayPal or Check by Phone, and billing is not available.

How does Monastery Greetings handle gift orders?Monastery Greetings ships gift orders with a short greeting on the packing slip and shipping label. No catalogs or price lists are enclosed with gift orders. Monastery Greetings will not ship anonymous gifts (packages where the billing party is not indicated). Sorry, no gift wrapping is available.

Does Monastery Greetings charge sales tax?Ohio billing addresses must pay sales tax on products and shipping charges. Sales tax does not apply to food items.
How does Monastery Greetings ship orders in the USA?Shipments are usually made by FedEx (Federal Express). For this reason, you must supply a street address. Some orders, particularly those with a low shipping weight, will ship via US Postal Service (usually Priority Mail), when appropriate.
How are shipping charges within the USA calculated?Shipping and handling costs are automatically calculated based on the shipping weight for each item. The weights are added together and rounded up to the nearest pound. This amount is used to calculate the total shipping cost using the chart below. ("East" means "East of the Mississippi River;" and "West" means "West of the Mississippi River.")

When will my order ship?If all items are in stock, most orders placed on a weekday will leave our warehouse within 48 hours. Orders placed during the weekend will generally ship on Monday. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, we ask that you allow two or three additional business days to ship.
Our 48-hour shipping commitment excludes weekends, holidays, closings due to extreme weather conditions and other related delays. Although we work hard to keep all our products in stock, occasionally out-of-stock items will delay your order. In this case, we will notify you when you place your order by phone, or you will be notified by email when you place your order via our website.
How long does shipping take?See the map below to estimate how long your order(s) will take to reach you, once they leave our warehouse. When shipping by FedEx, please note: FedEx does not include the day the order is picked up, weekends or holidays in these estimated shipping times. Bad weather may occasionally cause FedEx shipping delays.
Does Monastery Greetings ship to PO boxes?If a PO box is required, please place your order by phone. We will let you know your shipping options, along with the exact shipping charges. Nothing will be charged until you agree to these shipping costs.
Does Monastery Greetings ship outside the lower 48 United States?Monastery Greetings no longer ships orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or Military Addresses. Due to customs regulations, frequent damage in transit and rising shipping costs, we have been forced to stop shipping to these locations.

Does Monastery Greetings guarantee my purchase?Monastery Greetings wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If this is not the case, please contact us and let us know why. Your feedback is very important to the communities participating in Monastery Greetings.
Products (except for sale or discounted items, which are non-returnable) may be returned in re-sellable condition within 60 days of receipt. Monastery Greetings will issue a full refund for the price paid, along with any sales tax. Based on quantity returned, all or a percentage of the shipping charges will also be refunded. (Unless there is a printer's error, imprinted cards and envelopes are not returnable.)
How do I return merchandise to Monastery Greetings?Please follow these steps when returning merchandise (remember, sale and discounted items are non-returnable):
1. Circle the product and the price paid on the sales receipt. (Packing slips and photocopies are acceptable.)
2. If different from the address on the receipt, indicate where the refund should be sent.
3. Although not required, we would appreciate a short note letting us know why you are returning the product.
4. Send the above information, along with the merchandise (in re-sellable condition), to:

Are Monastery Greetings products allergy safe?Products in the Monastery Greeting catalog and website are made using strict health and safety regulations. However, cross-contamination in small monastic facilities is likely. So, for example, those with high levels of sensitivity to nuts should avoid ALL foods in our catalog and website.
Can I visit Monastery Greetings?Please note that Monastery Greetings does not have a storefront. If you are in our area and would like to pick up your order at our warehouse, please place your order by phone and we can arrange an appointment for pickup. Sorry, there are no walk-in sales.
Does Monastery Greetings offer custom imprinting?Monastery Greetings is pleased to offer custom imprinting on Christmas cards from The Printery House at Conception Abbey.
The minimum order is 10 boxes of cards and the cost is $5.00 per box. This includes imprinting 3 lines on the inside of the card and 3 lines on the back flap of the envelope. All imprints are in black ink and in Times New Roman font. Please allow 4 weeks for the delivery of your order. Order deadline for delivery before Christmas is November 15. Unless there is a printer's error, imprinted cards and envelopes are not returnable. To ensure accuracy, the text to be imprinted must be submitted in writing by e-mail, mail or by fax. Sorry, imprinting orders cannot be taken over the telephone.

- Individuals and institutions who order bulk quantities of a single item shipped to a single address may qualify for discounts.
- Call or e-mail before you place your order to see whether you qualify.
- Discounts do not apply to imprinting or shipping charges.
- Discounted items are non-returnable.
