Angel announcing Christ's birth to the shepherds, depicted in the Beuronese style, which was developed at the Abbey of Beuron in 19th century Germany. 5" x 7" on heavy card stock. Inside text reads:"Glorious night of love and light, / Of hope and joy and promise bright, / Our God and King has come to earth; / Shepherds and angels greet his birth." Bible verse (Luke 2:9) reads: "Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them..." 18 cards with 19 envelopes.
