In this richly detailed, luminous image, a benevolent guardian angel keeps watch over a sleeping boy. To mark the Feast of the Guardian Angels (October 2nd), Pope Francis said "We all have an angel with us, who protects us and helps us understand things . . . no one journeys alone and no one should think that they are alone."

Artisans painstakingly apply mineral pigments to richly-textured cathedral glass one color at a time; each color is fired at temperatures above 1100° F, becoming part of the glass and resulting in a brilliant, translucent suncatcher which will never fade.

Lead-free metal frame, gift-boxed with a chain for hanging and acrylic stand for display on any flat surface. 6-3/4" diameter. Imported.
