FLEECE MEDITATION ROBE
For Winter & Cooler Climates

Stay warm and comfortable while meditating in this soft, all-natural 100% organic cotton fleece robe. Worn over your clothes, it's better than a blanket because it won't slide or shift, and it provides more coverage than a shawl or jacket. Generous cut covers you while sitting in a variety of positions: kneeling, cross-legged or in a chair. Attached hood adds warmth and reduces distractions when pulled up.

Fleece is organic cotton.
Recommended care: machine wash in cold water (no chlorine bleach!) and air-dry.

40" long, 54" wrist-to-wrist; Easily hemmed.

Made in the USA by Esperanza Threads, a ministry of Ursuline Sisters which trains low income individuals in sewing to prepare them for jobs in area manufacturing companies.

Esperanza Threads: Bedford, Ohio

Esperanza Threads was founded by Ursuline Sister Mary Eileen Boyle in 2000 as a democratically operated cooperative that employs low-income individuals at a fair wage, manufacturing organic cotton clothing in Bedford, Ohio. The name esperanza means "hope" in Spanish and Mary Eileen says: "We have a big hope for all those who are and will become a part of this cooperative and succeeding cooperatives." Mary Eileen envisions the cooperative as a way to help create systemic change; an example of a different economic system; one where everyone's basic needs can be met. Members of Esperanza are partners with faith communities and civic groups where they speak on the issues of fair wages, outreach to the un-employed and under-employed and the need for reducing chemicals in our personal and global environment.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. We live part of the year in the Ecuador where the mornings are cold. He wears the robe to meditate outside with the full of you of the Andes that surround us and it keeps him warm and toasty. He loves it. We are even considering the possibility of a second one to keep one here and one in Atlanta.

This hooded cape is more than I anticipated. The workmanship is outstanding; the material is excellent; its packing was impressive. Clearly, dedication to quality is in effect.
