Easter Butter Molds
/ Plastic Lamb Mold (kit in box)
PLASTIC LAMB MOLD (kit in box)
You can join in an old Easter tradition when you make a Butter Lamb to add to your Easter basket or table. The lamb symbolizes Christ's sacrifice; rich butter celebrates the end of Lenten fasting and abstinence. The reusable two piece plastic mold comes with instructions, resurrection crosses and staffs. Fun and easy to use with butter or chocolate. Make them for yourself and give as gifts. Holds approx. 1/4 pound.

My first experience making chocolate shaped things. Thought it be nice to make instead of chocolate bunnies. Everyone who got one, was happy!

It was very easy to make the butter in the shape of a lamb. The true Easter symbol is the Lamb of God and we sometimes forget that because we mostly see the Easter bunny. The lamb mold can also be used to make a chocolate lamb for Easter baskets. We have 3 molds and really enjoy them.

We lost our butter-mold in the shape of The Lamb in our last move. Thankfully, MonasteryGreetings sells these molds and we can once again keep this tradition!

It is so cute, I had several out on the table at Easter. I put them on plates sitting on celery leafs.

I have been searching for a lamb mold because my old one cracked. I found this one and am very happy to say that it is exactly what I was looking for. My friends will be happy to receive a lamb for Easter.

This mold is great. The lamb-shapped butters at the grocery store are (a) rare and (b) the price of 4x as much butter. This allows you to use a great family-produced product on your Easter table--and to give them to family & friends! We learned that you need to add a bit more than one stick of butter so that there's enough to make the two halves stick together. Otherwise they tend to remain two parts and not mold into one.

It worked beautifully. Easy to use and remove. Will use it for many years to grace my Easter table.

I mold chocolates for my family's Easter baskets & have been trying to find more true Easter themed molds. This fit our needs! It is slightly more difficult to use than my previous lamb mold because with this one, you must make both halves separately & then "glue" them together with some melted chocolate. It just adds to the time in making them.
