THE PARABLE OF THE CHERRY BLOSSOM
by one who loved beyond all fear

This is a simple but powerful parable from Cistercian monk Mark Delery appealing to both adults and children about the strength and persistence of God's love. The parable has become the text for a cantata and mini-ballet performed during the Mass at Grace Episcopal Church in Amherst, MA, and a ballet performed in Elkton, VA. The illustrations by Sheila Keefe, a Santa Fe, NM, artist, combine elements of European and Central American Christianity, resulting in an intriguing iconography. Paperback, 36 pages.
