From Augustinian Monks AUGUSTINIAN SKULL ROSARY Made by the Monastic Congregation of St. Jude, an order of Anglican Augustinians, this rosary is designed to be a help in practicing piety and to remind us of our own mortality. Like the words spoken each Ash Wednesday, "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return," the skull is a memento mori reminding us that although we must die, death is a door through which we pass on the way to meeting the risen Lord Jesus face to face. Approximately 18" long; wood beads. Includes matching burlap gift bag. Prayer: Dear merciful God, thank you for loving me and showing me mercy when I did not deserve your favor. Please continue to awaken, reawaken, and constantly awaken within me a deep desire for the things above where Christ is seated with the Father. In gratitude I rejoice that the sting of death has lost its power in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
