ANGELS SILK
A reredos is the decorated part of the wall behind an altar in a church; in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, located in the north transept of Washington National Cathedral, N.C. Wyeth created a three-panel set of Angels praising Christ with song as a reminder of His glory. The central panel depicts Jesus with two prayerful, kneeling angels; the side panels feature bands of angels. The beautiful colors and inspiring depiction of this work have been replicated on this 100 % silk twill. 12" X 66", hand-rolled hem.
