Quadrupel (ABV 10%) is deep russet in color, with deep, sweet and spicy notes in the aroma. Full-bodied and malty; bottle conditioned.
Isid'or (ABV 7.5%) is named for Koningshoeven's first brewer, Brother Isidorus; amber-colored, fruity and full-flavored with a sweet, malty nose; bottle conditioned.

La Trappe Quadrupel (ABV 10%) is a full-bodied beer with a beautiful deep amber color and a lasting tan head. The aroma is of dark fruits and caramel; the warm taste is full and well-balanced; sweet notes of cherry, raisin, plum and vanilla are complemented by a pleasantly bitter and lasting finish. Rich and satisfying when first brewed, Quadrupel rewards respectful aging.

LA TRAPPE ISID'OR TRAPPIST ALE
25.4 oz
La Trappe Isid'or (ABV 7.5%) was developed to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Koningshoeven Abbey's brewery in 2009, and is named in honor of their first brewing master, Friar Isidorus Laaber. It is a lightly sweet amber beer with a dense bubbly tan head and aromas of toasted malt, spice and caramel. The beer, brewed with self-cultivated Perle hops, tastes softly bitter and well-balanced with a smooth mouthfeel. Its finish is dry, with some nuttiness and a fruity aftertaste.
Profits from this beer support Koningshoeven's daughter monastery in Africa; since fleeing violence in Kenya in 2008, the monks have had to start anew in Uganda. With these profits, the community will be able to build a new monastery.
