NEW!
From Westmalle Abbey, Belgium WESTMALLE DUBBEL TRAPPIST ALE 11.2 oz & 25.4 oz
Westmalle Dubbel (ABV 7%) is a dark, reddish amber-brown Trappist ale with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the caramel fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavor is rich, balanced and complex: herby, fruity and deeply malty with a long, dry, fresh-bitter finish that hints at tropical fruit. A classic Belgian Dubbel. The beer matures differently in the larger bottles, developing a subtler aftertaste.

From Westmalle Abbey, Belgium WESTMALLE TRIPEL TRAPPIST ALE 11.2 oz & 25.4 oz
Westmalle Tripel (ABV 9.5%) is a deep golden yellow Trappist ale that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is complex, with a fruity aroma and a finely nuanced hop scent. Soft and creamy in the mouth, it has a bitter hoppiness balanced by a delicate sweetness with a suggestion of orange. Westmalle Tripel is an exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. First brewed in Westmalle Abbey in 1934, its formula has stayed practically unchanged since 1956, more than 50 years. As does the Dubbel, this Tripel matures differently in the larger bottle. The fruity aroma is somewhat softer and riper, and the beer develops a light touch of vanilla.
