NEW!
From Val-Dieu Abbey, Belgium VAL-DIEU BROWN ALE 11.2 oz & 25.4 oz
Brewed at the Abbey of Val-Dieu in Belgium, Val Dieu Brown Ale (ABV 8%) is an Abbey double ale, unfiltered and unpasteurized, and brewed according to the traditional infusion method of the brewer-monks of Val-Dieu.
Inspired by an old abbey recipe, it undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle. It has an aroma of coffee, mocha and malt with a hint of smoke, and a dark ruby color with a buff-colored, lasting head. Flavor has notes of coffee, dates, and sweet roasted malts balanced with some piquancy and a slight bitterness. With moderate carbonation and a fairly dry finish, try it as a flavorful complement to your favorite meal.
