A BOOK OF HOURS (2-CD set) At Prayer with Thomas Merton A Book of Hours: At Prayer with Thomas Merton is an audio breviary created by Kathleen Deignan, CND, using the prayers, poems and psalms of the spiritual master who taught countless worldly contemplatives the art of lectio divina, the meditative reading of sacred texts which draws our souls into deep silence and devotion.
Drawn from her edited volume Thomas Merton: A Book of Hours, she has interlaced his mystical word with her sacred song to weave a sound tapestry for prayer at dawn and dusk each day that will encompass you in stillness or in motion, in solitude or while moving through the busyness of your life.

THOMAS MERTON: CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER (4 CD Audio Book Set)
Read by Jonathan Montaldo
This is Thomas Merton at his contemplative best, applying ancient wisdom to the longings of our age through his thoughtful commentary on Scripture and important writers of the Western spiritual tradition.
While writing first for those in monastic life, Merton reaches "beyond the refectory lectern to remind us of the importance -- nay, relevance -- of prayer for all Christians, contemplative or other."

SWEET IRRATIONAL WORSHIP (CD)
The Niles-Merton Songs
Kentucky born and bred singer and composer John Jacob Niles met Thomas Merton only a few times before Merton's untimely death in 1968. He was devastated by Merton's death and embarked on a 4-year journey to set 22 of Merton's poems to music. About half emphasize the beauty of nature; the others center on grief, violence and suffering. "For My Brother: Reported Missing in Action, 1943" is perhaps Merton's most famous poem, and Niles perfectly captures the overwhelming anguish Merton felt at the loss of his only brother. All songs performed by baritone Chad Runyon accompanied by pianist Jacqueline Chew. 22 selections; total time: 56:58
". . . experience Merton's poetry in a new dimension by listening to this well-crafted and splendidly interpreted recording." -- THE MERTON SEASONAL
