It was made at the highest peak of the choir's abilities, when the community had almost 80 monks, among them a schola of 20 young singers who were full of faith in their work and all very conscious of making the first contemporary recordings of the newly restored Silos chant. The first antiphon, Rorate cali desuper, for the fourth week of Advent, reflects that emotion from the first notes on.
