NEW! From Maredsous Abbey, Belgium MAREDSOUS 6 BLONDE ABBEY BELGIAN ALE 11.2 oz
The light Maredsous Blonde was the abbey's first beer; the monks still drink it daily at lunch. Maredsous Blonde (ABV 6%) is a delectable blonde ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting and a slightly dry, gently-hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavors and a touch of bitterness give this fine ale all the refreshing qualities of a classic Belgian Blonde.

From Westmalle Abbey, Belgium WESTMALLE DUBBEL TRAPPIST ALE 11.2 oz & 25.4 oz
Westmalle Dubbel (ABV 7%) is a dark, reddish amber-brown Trappist ale with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the caramel fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavor is rich, balanced and complex: herby, fruity and deeply malty with a long, dry, fresh-bitter finish that hints at tropical fruit. A classic Belgian Dubbel. The beer matures differently in the larger bottles, developing a subtler aftertaste.

NEW!
From the Abbey of New Clairvaux OVILA DUBBEL ABBEY ALE (25.4 oz)
Ovila Dubbel Abbey Ale is brewed by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in collaboration with the monks of the Abbey of New Clairvaux in Vina, California, closely following the traditions established by centuries of monastic brewing. Clear and deep copper in color, this Abbey Dubbel has a complex and rich malty sweetness with hints of caramelized sugar. The aroma is a heady and layered mix of fruit and spice with hints of clove, raisin, and black pepper from the use of an Abbey-style yeast.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Ovila Dubbel funds the reconstruction of an 800 year old Chapter House originally from a Cistercian monastery in Ovila, Spain, and now being rebuilt at New Clairvaux.

From Val-Dieu Abbey, Belgium VAL-DIEU TRIPLE ALE 11.2 oz & 25.4 oz
Brewed at the Abbey of Val-Dieu in Belgium, Val Dieu Triple Ale (ABV 9%) is an Abbey triple pale ale, unfiltered and unpasteurized, and brewed according to the traditional infusion method of the brewer-monks of Val-Dieu.
It boasts an aroma both delicate and full-bodied, with the scent of sweet grains, and a hazy golden-yellow color with a creamy white head. The relatively high alcohol content is balanced with a perfect combination of bitterness and sweetness. Hints of pepper brighten the earthy flavors of yeast, honey and pale malt. The dry finish has a light hoppy bite. Excellent and highly digestible, particularly as an accompaniment to a good meal.
