From St. Meinrad Archabbey DOVE CERAMIC PENDANT Individually handmade by monks in the Abbey's own pottery shop to a design by Brother Martin Erspamer. The Japanese technique of raku firing, in which each piece is withdrawn from the red-hot kiln with tongs and buried in sawdust, results in the characteristic crackled glaze and smoked-looking clay body, and makes each piece unique. 2" x 2-1/8" clay medallion hangs from adjustable 32" black leather cord. Gift packaged with information card.
