This pattern celebrates Jesus' miraculous feeding of 5000 by the multiplication of fish and loaves at Tabgha. Today, at a church on that site, pilgrims can see the ancient mosaic floors which are the pattern for this splendid cup and plate. Handcrafted in Hebron, outside of Jerusalem, with lead-free glaze. Dishwasher safe. Cup is 7" tall. Plate is 11" in diameter.

COMMUNION
CHALICE & PLATE
For intinction, this two-piece set is ideal; the wide-mouth chalice will accommodate the dipping of bread into wine. Set also makes a wonderful wedding gift, which can be used at the service and then, later, for a child's First Communion or wedding. Chalices and plates can also be purchased separately. Subtle earth-tone glazes with light brown and blue highlights and a cross carved into the base.
Chalice approx dimensions 7 1/2" tall; 4 1/4" diameter cup; 3 1/4" in diameter base. 12-oz. capacity. Plate approx dimensions 9 3/4" in diameter base.
