On the left, Joseph looks to Heaven and to a chorus of angels heralding the birth. On the right, the Magi, the shepherds and Anne (Mary's birth attendant) all look on. In the cornfields of rural Ohio, the Franciscan Sisters at Earth'n Sisters Pottery fund their outreach work by crafting beautiful clay liturgical objects. Display the Nativity Lantern unlit during Advent as an encouragement to keep the season holy. Gather 'round on Christmas Eve and light it. Sing a carol or pray with your loved ones and friends.
Thrown on a wheel by Sr. Jane, the lantern's exterior is hand-decorated with gold and blue highlights and the interior is glazed blue. Approx. height is 5"; the base is 5" in diameter. Votive candle not included.
